With our electric models, the average kw/h energy consumption per kg of coffee is 0.4 kWh or lower – one of the best in the industry among all-electric roasters.
We achieved these results due to several factors:
- A heat transfer system that is highly efficient. Energy is applied directly to the coffee.
- Thick insulation layer of 50 to 150 mm. Rockwool of this thickness allows you to reduce heat loss during heating and not to depend on temperature in the room.
- Hot air recuperation. Our roasters use heat efficiently by recycling heated air
Interchangeable roasting plates. Hybrid coffee roasting technology
The Typhoon 2.5 and Typhoon 5 roasters have interchangeable roasting plates. The 8mm thick conduction plate made of high carbon steel allows a bright, juicy “filter” coffee, while the 2mm thick convection plate made of stainless steel allows a balanced and pure espresso with intensive air exchange to be prepared.
Convection and conduction can contribute to the success of a coffee business, even if the company is small!
External cyclone. There will be no dust and chaff anymore.
Typhoon 5 kg is the first roaster in the production line to offer an external cyclone which effectively cleanses the air of chaff and supplies which clean air for the next roast cycle. You can roast batches constantly without needing to destone coffee after it has been dropped to the cooling table, the batch being perfectly clear of various admixtures. You can also dispose of rubbish collected in a bin under the external cyclone once every 10 roasts.

During the process of work on a product, the quality of its taste, flavor and color depends on maintaining the profile. The master needs to select the right parameters to develop individual flavor descriptors for coffee of special sort and origin. will help you to create professional profiles. Standard models of devices include touch-screen panels for setting the system and controlling it.
The use of high airflow and heat to suspend beans during roasting is the most effective method for reducing defects in beans such as tipping, scorching, or charring on more than 80% compared to traditional drum roasters. Typhoon devices provide a cleaner taste and allow you to save twice as much time, while achieving the same results as you would with a specialty coffee roaster.

In this video we show clearly how a Typhoon shoproaster works. As part of our discussion, we will also cover the fluid-bed patented technology and technical versions of the machine.
This function allows the user to have full control over the airflow during all stages which results
in maximum consistency in heat transfer. All parameters can be saved to the history log, which can then be reloaded for following roasts.
Once a roast is finished, it’s essential to quickly stop the process of pyrolysis and discharge the coffee in order to avoid any baked flavours. Typhoon roasters can quickly cool the batch for 2 or 2,5 minutes.
Modular air heating
A smooth regulatory heating system is essential for quality and consistency during preparation. Therefore, we installed modular PID-regulated tubular electric heaters in our machines.
Air exchange regulation
Typhoon tools are constructed in such a way as to provide a fresh air supply to the roasting area as well as smoke outtakes. This is key for proper outcome since baked and smoky flavors are prevented this way.
Typhoon roasters are totally controlled by the** roasting profile software “Typhoon profile system 3.0”. This
program helps you to create roasting profiles, choose one from the history log, monitor the
parameters, and also provides everything you need for professional roasting.
Easy clean and service
